I have a template based website.
The I-Supply widget code is too wide and the shopping mall page is cut off.
I have talked to both the tech support of godaddy and reported this to CRM.
I am sure I will not be the only person who will have this error as we roll out more carts. Many people have template based websites.
CRM has said nothing can be done. It is what it is. The widget code can not be creatively written to adjust the width.
Godaddy says it will take advanced css coding to adjust just the one page so the cart will fit.
I had already widen the entire site and its not an option to redesign the entire site at this time.
This will take a good deal of investment.
Widen the one page with advance css coding could be the easy or less expensive part for the marketing and promotion of the shopping mall to see a decent ROI is the challenge.
It just perplexs me that the only reply from CRM is: nothing can be done.
Translation: we don't care adjust your site to 1100px We are not going to think out of the box.
Until thousands of sites show up with these sizing errors.

I have still not heard of a successful pasting of code onto an existing website that adds a store. All I've been told is that we must either have a separate domain for the i-supply store or re-write our website code to accommodate a new page and store tab. This doesn't work for me and can't imagine setting up affiliate stores like this.
I've been posting everywhere for several weeks hoping for a solution to this. Nothing so far.

Are we allowed or able to set up affiliate stores yet? Any time table or am I just oblivious to our i-supply environment? For one, I sure could use a lot more documentation than what I've read and seen so far.

Have people given up on i-Supply? I have not heard anything about it lately and am wondering if anyone has successfully distributed licenses and actually seen a store work on other websites. I finally got a response (after 3 weeks) from i-Supply support regarding the problem with the code being a re-direct rather than code to add the store to a website. They said that the best thing to do would be to create an additional page for a website. Here is my response:
"Altering a website to accommodate the store tab requires expertise that I doubt most folks will have who comprise the market for a license to "monetize their website" as i-Supply claims to be able to do. Is this what we are to tell people? The free license now costs $10 to you and probably at least a couple hundred to change the website -- I doubt this will fly. What am I missing???"
So, what am I missing?

They just were not ready for the burst of growth. The communication is challenging between the field and upper management at best.
I am waiting on a call center. When we their customers can get some service.

Does anyone realize that with your live store that in the upper right corner of each page are ads for name brand companies and when you click those on, it takes you to the I-supply page where anyone can sign up for their own Store. I wonder what will happen when people find out they can get a better price directly
from I-supply rather than getting a license through a brand builder.

I-Supply costs comparison
Are the cost of items on I-Supply the same or lower than other shopping sites on the internet? What about shipping?
Has any information been give out on this or anyone done a comparison yet?
thanks

I have a question. Why would I want to give someone a BB position, if they have a website and have a I-supply button from me? Would I make more off the 7% from the i-supply than I would make off them being a BB? I guess it comes down to how much business they do with the i-supply on their website? If they did a million dollars worth of sales I'd make $70,000. How many BB's in my down line team would it take to do that? Of course not many are going to do a million in business on the website but I think it's a relevant question never the less? I would seem to me to be better not to give out the BB and keep the 7%. I'm just asking, I'm not trying to screw things up or be greedy I'm just thinking out loud?

Webmaster: When will the latest slide show material be posted on the Tools/Training area? Or is it there and I'm just looking past it. Could happen. ;-D
The information sharing gets better each week. I like to keep my salesware materials current if possible.
